cause it will grow back all choppy n nasty but

ohkay well im planning on gettin a dramtic hair cut like i wanna go short like my shoulders and iv never had that done %26amp; i have a round face so maybe that could help out with some ideas?

Sounds like me! Bahaha

Well, the longer your hair is, the more it weighs down the thickness of your hair. So if you cut your hair short, it`ll looker thicker, but it`ll be easier to straighten and style.

If you cut your hair short. you can scrunch it easily, and straightening wont take that long. But if you really dont want to cut it, try getting it chemically straightened. The longer your hair, the more expensive it gets. Price ranges from $60 to $100+ ; not sure if youre into that....

DO NOT CUT YOUR HAIR!

unless you get it permantly straightened.

because you say it looks thick and poofy, right?

well thick hair %26amp; short dont match.

it will look like a big poof ball on top of you head,

i think you should keep it long,

hope i helped sweetie.:)

Have you ever thought about putting a relaxer in it to straighten it. You would really be able to manage it better. And if you cut it shorter and really dont have the time to get it straightened that could turn out to be a disaster. like a big afro you know what i'm sayin'? So think about a straightenig process that could last for a while and a good conditioner like redkin all soft.

When hair is thinned out its cut in between strands and after several times will look stringy...Anyway about the straightening I also have LOTS OF HAIR and what I have is long layers. I use Bio Silk to soften the texture of my hair. Then I blow dry it until its flat. I spray in TI GI camera ready hair shine, I use a hot tools hair straightener and it comes out so silky and soft!! And I do have long hair.

Hope it works for you!

Get your hair layered. It gives it more space and makes it healthier, look nicer and easier to handle. It will make it look great. Try it...Hope I helped

i have the exact same type of hair. but PLEASE DONT go short! next time you go to the hair dressers ask for them to give you a face frame, side bangs, layers but KEEP IT LONG. if you want something more dramatic why not get some natural colored highlights? also, have you considered thermal straightening...i considered it also because my hair takes a long time as well to straighten, although not as long as yours. youre best bet could also e to invest in a really good hair straightener..do you have a chi? every girl with curly hair should...its expensive but SO worth it. please dont cut it off though, i get that youre frustrated but i promise you'll regret it and if you ever want it to be long again you have to wait forever and it will go through really akward stages(like when its shoulder length). long hair is hot right now, just learn to work with it!
