Emo hair! help plzzzz?

i have long hair (not really long but long) hair and i have short layers. i have a fringe that was like one of those full fringes but i havent cut it in ages and its now like a really crappy side fringe. i want it cut so its like long emo hair with like a long side fringe and short layers that wont fit in a pony tail but i dont want it to look like a mullet. wat should i tell the hair dresser without saying i want an 'emo haircut' and does anyone have fotos?

What's wrong with just asking for an emo haircut. I bet if you asked the hairdresser to cut it how you described, they'd say "you mean an emo haircut?" Emos are fags.

just search something like "emo hair" or "scene hair" on photobucket. there are TONS, and then print it off and take it to the salon

Hair dressers are there to cut your hair, they don't care what you're into or whether or not you're emo. Ask for whatever cut you want. Tell the hairdresser exactly what you wrote here:

"i want it cut so its like long emo hair with like a long side fringe and short layers that wont fit in a pony tail but i dont want it to look like a mullet."

That's perfectly clear. If it's a specific look you want, search around for a picture to bring with you. Or bring a couple pictures and say you want the bangs from this picture and the back from the other one. Really, they don't care. They're there to give you what you want and make it look good, that's why you're paying them.
