going to the hairdresser is best, but if you absolutely can't, then take scissors and hold them vertically and just snip little pieces of hair of all around your head. That works for me, but I also took a cosmetology class for a while so that probably makes a difference.

you don't need a hairdresser just grab section of hair and you should have a razor and razor you hair into ramdon chunks

i mean of course the hairdresser is gonna be your best bet. tell them that you want choppy layers and you want them to cut your hair with a razor (it looks better) and have fun with it.

if ur talking about those emo haircuts, u don HAVE to do it urself to like it. u could still go to a hair dresser and say u want a shaggy cut. = japanese haircut. u have to go to a right place tho. but i got mine done, it IS possible. but u can do it urself too..its not tat hard.
