Im curious about getting hair extensions...but i know nothing about them! How do the differ from a weave? what should i tell my hair dresser? Will they match my hair colour to the extension? Will they cut them to match my hair style? how much should I expect to pay?

Judging by your avatar,your hair looks nice,but yes. Your hair dresser will show you the different types of extensions that will be best for your hair texture and color. Prices vary by:
Style (Long,short,wavy?,etc.)
Length of Extension (How much hair do you want?)
Color or Added Color
Texture (Human hair or Synthetic?)
Time (How long will it take the hairdresser to do the job?)
(Now) if you choose human hair (which cost more) ,then it can be colored to match your own hair. Synthetic hair can not be colored.
